SUNLAND PARK, N.M (KFOX14/CBS4) — Some residents in the Sunland Park area may experience water service disruptions on Tuesday as crews with the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority work to stabilize the system during an emergency repair.

CRRUA, the water provider for Sunland Park and Santa Teresa, said residents in the Rio Vista/Riverside area are experiencing water service impacts due to an emergency repair of a pressure-reducing valve.

The utility outlined two impact zones on its map of the affected neighborhood.

In the red zone, the area was coming back up to normal pressure as of 11:36 a.m.

However, in the green zone, the area remains under low pressure, the utility said.

According to CRRUA, crews will continue to work on-site to stabilize the system and restore full service.

While the utility has not released an estimated restoration time for the remaining low-pressure areas, CRRUA urged residents to visit its website for updates.
