AUSTIN, Texas — Preservation Austin is opening the doors to some of the city’s most unique homes next month.

The nonprofit’s annual Homes Tour returns April 18 and 19, giving visitors a chance to step inside 10 historic residences across Austin.
This year’s tour includes two neighborhoods never featured before and, for the first time, a home from the 1970s.

ALSO | New Preservation Austin HQ opens on Red River Street in restored McFarland-McBee House
Tours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, with five homes featured each day.
Organizers say the event is a way to connect the community with Austin’s history, architecture, and culture.

Early-bird tickets start at $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers through March 31.

Standard tickets increase to $40, and day-of tickets will be $55.
