LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – March 25 is recognized as National Medal of Honor Day.
A memorial will be held at the Monument of Courage Wednesday at 7:13 p.m. to remember the 13 people killed in action as well as the more than 200 soldiers wounded since Operation Epic Fury started in the Middle East.
The Lubbock VFW and other organizations are hosting the event and everyone is invited to join.
For those unable to make it to the Henry Huneke Park for the service can instead turn on their porch lights at 7:13 tonight to show their support for all these service members.
