A new early childhood center aimed at expanding access to quality childcare will officially open on the west side of San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — A new early childhood education center is opening its doors in San Antonio and city leaders say it’s about more than just childcare.
YWCA San Antonio is set to host a ribbon cutting and grand opening for the Harvey E. Najim Early Childhood Education Center on Wednesday, March 25.
The event will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. at 2318 Castroville Road on the west side of San Antonio.
Organizers say the new center is part of their broader mission to support families by providing high-quality childcare while promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
“This center is more than a building,” YWCA leaders said. “It’s a vital part of our mission.”
The project is supported by community partners including The Najim Charitable Foundation and H-E-B.
Community members are invited to attend the free event and celebrate the opening of the new space designed to serve young children and families in the area.
