A longtime brand that’s known for its boots is investing in North Texas.
Timberland is planning to open its own stores in the region, Ryan Murphy, head of marketing, Timberland Americas, said in an email. They include Grapevine Mills, Galleria Dallas and Allen Premium Outlets and are slated for later this year.
The new sites are a big push for a brand that does not have its own shops in the region. The stores allow Timberland to deepen its relationships with locals, bringing the brand to life “in a physical way,” Murphy said.
“As one of the fastest‑growing and most diverse regions in the country, DFW brings together consumers who value durability and function alongside style and self‑expression, making it a natural fit for Timberland’s footwear, apparel and workwear roots,” Murphy said. “… “Texas has consistently been an important market for Timberland across wholesale and digital channels.”

The store in Allen will cover about 4,000 square feet while the site in Grapevine will include more than 4,500, and the Dallas locale will be more than 1,500.
