Three years ago at Amphibian Stage’s SparkFest, Zoë Kim performed an early version of her one-woman play about the trials and tribulations of growing up Korean-American. The workshop production led to a world premiere in Boston and then an extended run at famed off-Broadway house The Public, the latter coproduced by a SparkFest judge who first saw the show at Amphibian.
Now Kim and her play Did You Eat? (밥 먹었니?) are back at the Fort Worth theater for a three-weekend engagement. Billed as “raw and personal” and “nimble and tender,” it deals with identity issues as Kim reckons with memories of her family and what it means to belong and to be loved.
Details: March 25-April 12 at Amphibian Stage. Tickets at amphibianstage.com.

Zoë Kim is performing her one-woman show at Amphibian Stage this month and next.
