Owner Jesus Mendoza joined the show to share more about the longtime Austin staple, which has been part of the city’s culinary and cultural scene since 1988. “Mr. Natural is a vegetarian vegan restaurant, bakery, health food store and juice bar. We have it all over there for you guys!” Mendoza said, highlighting the diverse offerings.
For Easter, Mendoza brought a variety of festive treats. “We always love to play around with the décor! We’ve got cupcakes that are going to be celebrating Easter. Kids love to grab these. The cookies are gluten free anybody can have these basically, that is amazing. And what I love about this actually is it’s a butter cream instead of a rolled sugar that’s hard, so they are nice and soft,” he said.

Beyond baked goods, Mr. Natural’s juice bar is a highlight. “Yes, the juice bar. We do everything fresh. That’s something we absolutely love about Mr. Natural we use fresh ingredients, not frozen. And as you can see, this carrot juice has been sitting here and it hasn’t settled—it’s definitely sweet because the carrot is naturally sweet!” Mendoza said, before making a fresh Green Sunshine smoothie on air.
