A late-night house fire caused $30,000 in damage and even melted siding on a neighboring home, officials said.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters are investigating a late-night house fire that caused damage to two homes in northwest San Antonio.
The fire was reported around 12:05 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of West Kings Highway near Fredericksburg Road.
A battalion chief said crews arrived to find flames coming from the back of the home.
The fire also melted siding on a neighboring house before firefighters were able to quickly knock it down.
Everyone inside made it out safely, and no injuries were reported.
Officials estimate the damage at around $30,000.
Fire investigators are now working to determine what caused the fire.
