LUBBOCK, Texas — Carter Arrott of Ballinger and Addison Boehning of Earth were crowned Texas Tech University’s 2025 Homecoming King and Queen. The winners were announced on October 11, during halftime of the Texas Tech vs. University of Kansas game on the field at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Carter Arrott a personal financial planning and management major, represents Beta Theta Pi says “It is a full-circle moment that honors the younger version of myself who once sat in those stands, looking up to the traditions, the spirit, and the pride that make this place special. What started as admiration has grown into a deep appreciation for the university that shaped me, and now I have the chance to represent the very pride that inspired me years ago.”

Addison Boehning an agribusiness major, represents Pi Beta Phi stated “As someone who’s been a proud West Texan all my life, Texas Tech has always represented more than just a school; it’s the heartbeat of this community I love so much. To represent the past, present and future of our Red Raider family means standing for everything that makes this place special: pride, grit, and most importantly, its people. Texas Tech is in such an exciting moment of its story, and I love getting to be a small part of that momentum, a symbol of where we’ve been and where we’re headed.”
