CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Pickle Fest is back in the Coastal Bend this weekend, bringing a full day of food, drinks, vendors, and family-friendly fun as the popular event continues to grow each year at Nueces Brewing and BBQ.

What started as a simple idea among friends has turned into a signature local festival celebrating all things pickle—from food and drinks to games and creative attractions.

“It’s all about pickle. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger… Corpus Christi loves it. It’s a great time,” said Cale Moore, co-owner of Nueces Brewing Company.

Moore says the festival has expanded significantly over the years, now featuring more vendors than ever before, including local food trucks and businesses putting their own spin on pickle-inspired dishes.

Pickle Fest takes place Saturday at Nueces Brewing Company located at 401 S. Water St. Doors open at 11 a.m., with festivities running until about 6 p.m.

“We’ve got tons of local vendors… each one is doing something special for this event. It’s super special to get everyone together,” Moore said.

This year’s festival includes an expanded menu of pickle-themed offerings, including pickle wings brined in pickle juice and multiple specialty pickle beers brewed specifically for the event. One of the new highlights is a spicy chamoy dill beer called “Deal with the Devil,” alongside returning favorites like the brewery’s signature pickle beer.

“With pickles, it’s always good. The problem is whittling it down… everything is delicious when you put a pickle on it,” Moore added.

Beyond food and drinks, Pickle Fest also features family-friendly entertainment, including face painting, a vendor marketplace, and a mechanical bull redesigned as a “mechanical pickle.”

“Bring the whole family, come have some fun… even bring your dog,” Moore said.

Organizers say the goal is to make the festival welcoming for all ages, blending food, creativity and community into one signature event.
