EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A new support center aimed at helping service members, veterans, first responders and their families navigate the often-unseen challenges of military life is opening in El Paso.
The Warrior’s Journey announced the grand opening of the El Paso Military Resiliency Center and its on-site community hub, the Warrior Java Café, to open on Thursday.
The center is located at 12135 Pebble Hills, El Paso, TX 79936, inside the Endeavors Health and Wellness center.
The El Paso Military Resiliency Center is part of The Warrior’s Journey’s expanding network of resiliency-focused locations. The organization said the centers are designed to provide confidential, compassionate, peer-driven support and to foster resilience through meaningful connections and community engagement.
The Warrior’s Journey said the centers are intended to support people dealing with challenges, including moral injury, PTSD, and feelings of isolation.
The organization said the launch of the new center follows ongoing collaboration with local veteran-serving organizations and leaders focused on strengthening the support system for Fort Bliss and the broader military community. The opening is described as a milestone in extending The Warrior’s Journey’s mission to empower veterans and families with holistic, faith-guided resources.
The Warrior Java Café is expected to serve as a gathering space where service members, veterans and families can connect, recharge and build supportive relationships. The organization said the café is designed to offer quality beverages in a warm, community-focused environment aligned with the center’s mission.
The Warrior’s Journey is a veteran nonprofit organization that says it is dedicated to empowering military members, veterans and their families by providing holistic support, fostering meaningful connections and offering resources focused on resilience and personal growth. The organization said its network of resiliency centers continues to expand globally, with El Paso among its newest locations.
