A dessert chain with locations across the United States is expanding into the San Antonio market with a location on the city’s North Side.

MilkShake Factory is coming soon to North San Antonio, according to both the company’s website and the franchise’s Facebook page.
According to a recent announcement from the business, construction officially began at the new location at 21025 N. Hwy. 281, Ste. 1314, on Feb. 9. It’s in the shopping center across from the H-E-B plus!
As of March 18, the location has begun hiring for full- and part-time positions, although no official opening date has been announced at the time of publication.
The context
MilkShake Factory was established in Pittsburgh back in 1914 and now has locations across the United States.
In Texas, the chain has two current locations, with one in the Houston area and another in the Dallas area. There’s also another being planned for The Woodlands, according to their website.
On the menu is a variety of specialty, gourmet milkshakes and ice cream-based dessert items. There are also non-dairy and non-milkshake options available to customers, the menu states.
