GAINES COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) – A Denver City man was killed and three others hospitalized after a rollover in Gaines County Tuesday night.
At 8:30 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash near FM 2055 and FM 2056.
Crash investigators say a GMC Sierra, driven by 40-year-old Heriberto Gonzalez-Romero, ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a Ford pickup traveling north.
A passenger of the GMC Sierra, 19-year-old Martin Alexander Gonzales Rangel, died at the scene of the crash.
Two other passengers suffered serious injuries. 25-year-old Ruben Hernandez was taken to Yoakum County Hospital. 25-year-old Jamie Romero-Sanez was transported to UMC in Lubbock.
The driver of the Ford pickup, 27-year-old Jose Gonzalez, was also transported to UMC in Lubbock with serious injuries.
Gonzalez-Romero was taken to Yoakum County Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
