AUSTIN, Texas – With spring stepping out of winter’s shadow, wildflowers can be seen across the Hill Country, Big Bend Country, the Gulf Coast, prairies and lakes, panhandle plains, and across East Texas.
Many people can expect to see wildflowers like bluebonnets, Engelmann’s daisy, Texas Star, blue sage and more.

Wildflower enthusiasts can buy the bluebonnet license plate, which can be purchased on the conservation plate website. Proceeds will go to educational interpretive programming and conservation efforts at state parks.
