Haltom City police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of Birdville Independent School District property in the 6200 block of Broadway Avenue on Friday afternoon.
Multiple injuries were reported in the shooting at 4:45 p.m., according to scanner radio traffic.
Several police and fire vehicles are blocking off an area marked with crime-scene tape surrounding a U-Haul truck and another vehicle in the parking lot between a Birdville ISD administration building and the athletics department’s Birdville Stadium/W.G. Thomas Coliseum.
A police spokesperson will release more information to media at the scene.
