SOFTBALLCountry Day thumps Greenhill in SPC play
Fort Worth Country Day hammered league opponent Addison Greenhill 16-0 in a four-inning run-rule softball contest in an SPC matchup. Boston College pledge, junior Maddie Richey surrendered just 1 hit over 4 innings while striking out 8 for Country Day (4-2 overall, 1-0 confernece).
Greenhill falls to 0-1 in conference play and 1-5 overall.
Junior Ryleigh Hall, a Stephen F. Austin commit, was 2 for 3 with a walk-off home run that ended the game by rule. Hall finished with 4 rbi while Mary Evans Bumstead had 3 singles and 3 rbi for the Falcons.
