A man was fatally stabbed in a grocery store in Garland on Friday night, according to police.

The Garland Police Department (GPD) said officers responded at 8 p.m. Friday to a stabbing call in the 2900 block of South First Street, which is the address for a Fiesta Mart.

When officers got to the grocery store, officers found a man inside suffering from a stab wound, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His identity was not released by police.

GPD said the man was stabbed by another man, who was described as a Hispanic male wearing a black beanie, black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes. Police released this photo of the suspect they’re looking for, which was taken from surveillance footage:

Garland police believe there were several people in and around the store, including the parking lot, at the time of the incident, and are interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen the suspect arrive, leave, or interact with anyone before or after the stabbing.
