EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — On Saturday, March 28, the El Paso Republican Party hosted the 2026 El Paso Republican County Convention.
The convention was hosted at Gun Central from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As required by the rules of the Republican Party of Texas, the purpose of the convention was to conduct official business of the Republican Party, including the election of delegates and alternates to the state convention.

The process occurs every two years and determines the priorities for each bi-annual Texas legislative session.
The Texas GOP 2026 Convention will be held in Houston, Texas, from June 11 through 13, and is themed “Strong Roots, Bold Future.”
