WASHINGTON — Millions of people across the U.S. and abroad are expected participate in the “No Kings” protest Saturday.
More than 3,000 separate marches and rallies are set to take place, according to organizers.
This is the third “No Kings” mobilization since President Donald Trump returned to the White House for his second term, and it is expected to be the largest.

“Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people — not wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies,” according to the No Kings website.
The White House dismissed the nationwide protests as the product of “leftist funding networks” with little real public support.
“The only people who care about these Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions are the reporters who are paid to cover them,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said in a statement.
Minnesota was designated as the flagship location in recognition of the deaths of two people, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were fatally shot by federal agents earlier this year during an immigration surge in and around Minneapolis.
