HOUSTON – Six people were shot at a house party in Acres Homes, according to police.
It happened on Parkes near West Little York at about 9 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived, there was a large crowd gathered in the front yard.
One man was shot and rushed to the hospital.
Others went to hospitals on their own.
One of the six victims was in critical condition, and the others were in stable condition.
Investigators said it appears multiple shooters were involved.
Police detained one person for questioning.
