The Dallas Cowboys’ Austin Region girls flag football season kicked off Saturday at Burger Stadium and Bob Shelton Stadium in Buda.

The league features 18 teams this year, including all 13 Austin ISD schools and newcomers Liberty Hill, Legacy Ranch, Lehman, Hays and Buda Johnson.

The league will consist of four weeks of action with games played at both Burger Stadium and Bob. Shelton Stadium. The playoffs are slated for May 2 at Burger Stadium. You can find the schedule here.
