The deadly shooting occurred at an event venue on California Lane; the victim was an unidentified 32-year-old man.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A fight at an event location resulted in the shooting death of a 32-year-old man early Sunday morning, says the Arlington Police Department.

Arlington police are investigating the incident. In a press release Sunday, APD detailed its initial response at approximately 4:29 a.m. to the 1200 block of California Lane. 

Upon their arrival, officers located multiple shell casings in front of the business. Witnesses told them a physical fight broke out at the location, during which someone fired multiple shots. At this time, the victim was being transported to Medical City Arlington, where he was eventually pronounced dead due to injury from his gunshot wound.

At this time, no arrests have been made in the shooting, APD says. Detectives are currently conducting a follow-up investigation and working to identify the shooter.
