Burleson-Darryl Wayne Simmons passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 62. Visitation: 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite B, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Cryptside Service: 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Greenwood Mausoleum. Darryl was born on July 14, 1963, to Donna and Robert Simmons in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Darryl liked to play his guitar and write his own music. Some of his other hobbies included fishing, doing yard work, and spending time with his mom. He was a loving and caring man who was always there for his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Simmons; step-father, Robert Bowles; and his maternal grandparents, Carol Dean Carnes and Byron Lee Carnes; paternal grandparents, Ruth Simmons and Leo Simmons; and several cousins and friends. Darryl is survived by his mother, Donna Simmons; brother, Kevin Simmons and wife, Laura; niece, Cloe Simmons; nephew, Kaden Simmons; niece, Lilah Tatsak; and nephew, Tim Tatsak.
