HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Dozens of firefighters are working to contain a fire at an apartment complex in west Houston Sunday evening, the Houston Fire Department said.
Senior Captain David Reyes told ABC13 that crews were called to an apartment fire at 10550 Valley Forge Drive at around 6:09 p.m.
Reyes said that between 65 and 75 firefighters are working on the 2-alarm fire, which has impacted 14 units.
While no resident injuries have been reported, two firefighters fell down when a balcony collapsed, according to Reyes. One of the firefighters was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, Reyes added.
Arson investigators are working to determine what started the fire, Reyes said.
