ARLINGTON, Texas — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot early Sunday morning at an event venue, according to the Arlington Police Department.

On March 29, 2026, at approximately 4:29 a.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1200 block of California Lane. Upon arrival, they found multiple shell casings in front of the business. Witnesses reported that a physical altercation had occurred, during which multiple shots were fired.

Shortly after, Medical City Arlington staff informed officers that a 32-year-old man had arrived at their emergency room with a gunshot wound. The man, who was transported by friends from the shooting scene, was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident and working to identify the shooter. No arrests have been made at this time, stated the Arlington Police Department.
