Killer Burger, founded in Portland, Oregon in 2010, first expanded to the Lone Star State via its October 2024 debut in San Antonio’s Far Westside neighborhood. At the time, then-CEO John Dikos said the Alamo City restaurant marked a “milestone” for the chain, particularly as it looked to expand beyond the Pacific Northwest. Now home to more than two dozen locations, the business has since announced plans to expand into Texas’ capital city — and now, adding a surging East Austin suburb to its plate.

The city of Manor is expected to welcome a Killer Burger restaurant later this summer, based on project filings registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Monday, March 30. Under preliminary cost and timeline estimates, which are subject to change, Killer Burger is slated to kickstart construction work in early April ahead of a projected July construction completion date. The 2,600-square-foot project, with an estimated construction cost of $900,000, encompasses a full interior finish out for the future burger joint.

The upcoming location is nestled in the Manor Crossing shopping center, already anchored by H-E-B and joining existing tenants like Planet Fitness, Chick-fil-A and T.J. Maxx.
