A special appearance is planned for an Easter event featuring vendors and food trucks, with free photos offered to attendees. An Easter egg hunt will also take place during the celebration.

Overtime Skateboards Deck Release Benefit for Ronnie Mathis

6-11:45 p.m. at House of Rock 511 Starr St, Corpus Christi

A skate deck release benefit will be held during April ArtWalk, supporting Ronnie Mathis, also known as “Mr. Pointy Boots,” in his cancer battle. The event will feature live music, vendors, and a meet-and-greet with Mathis in downtown Corpus Christi.

Kidswalk Family Art Time

4 p.m. at 100 N. Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi 

A free family art event will feature hands-on Easter-themed crafts for kids and adults, including a fabric egg collage with all supplies provided. Attendees will also be able to watch a live sewing demonstration by fabric artist Shirin Delsooz and explore her fabric collection.

First Friday ArtWalk

6-10 p.m. at 921 N Chaparral St, STE 100, Corpus Christi

First Friday ArtWalk in downtown Corpus Christi will feature live music, art exhibitions, local vendors, and pop-up events across multiple locations. The family- and pet-friendly event also includes food trucks, activities, and entertainment throughout the area.

Saturday, April 4Bailey Zimmerman: Different Night Same Rodeo Tour 2026

12 a.m. – 12 p.m. at  Hilliard Center 1901 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi

Country star Bailey Zimmerman will bring his “Different Night Same Rodeo Tour 2026” to Corpus Christi for a one-night show featuring special guests Hudson Westbrook and Blake Whiten. The concert will take place at the Hilliard Center Arena with tickets available for the upcoming event.

Family Easter Egg Hunt by Lonestar Dads

10a.m. – 12 p.m. at  South Texas Botanical Gardens 8545 S Staples St, Corpus Christi

A free Easter egg hunt with prizes and a cookout will be held at the Botanical Gardens, offering family activities and free admission for kids accompanied by their dads. The event will include food and holiday-themed fun for attendees.

Asbury Easter Egg Hunt

10a.m. – 1 p.m. at  Asbury Methodist Church 7501 S. Staples St, Corpus Christi

The event is a family-friendly Easter celebration hosted by a church and community to observe the religious meaning of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus. It also includes children’s activities like an egg hunt, games, and a bounce house to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for families.

Easter at Explore Play Cafe

10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at  Explore Play Cafe 1535 wildcat drive, Portland

“Spring Stations” celebration at Explore Play Cafe where children and families take part in interactive spring-themed activities and enjoy seasonal treats in a fun, hands-on setting. It includes activities like an egg hunt, adopt-a-seedling, carrot darts, garden sensory bins, egg sorting, and springtime photo opportunities.

Barn Yard Bunny Bash

12-4 p.m. at  CCTX Animal Adventures 1325 Yorktown Blvd. Corpus Christi

The Barn Yard Bunny Bash at CCTX Animal Adventure is a family Easter celebration featuring organized egg hunts, hands-on encounters with farm animals at the kids’ hobby farm, and a special Easter Bunny cuddle area for photos and memories.

Easter Market and Egg Hunt

The Taft Chamber of Commerce will host an Easter market and egg hunt at Taft Memorial Park, featuring vendors, food, games, music, and photos with the Easter Bunny. The family-friendly event will include activities for kids and a community celebration.

House of Meats 2 Years Anniversary Block Party

1-6 p.m. at  House of Meats 3114 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi

The 2-Year Anniversary Block Party is a family-friendly celebration featuring free BBQ samples, live DJ music, a moonjump, giveaways, and raffle prizes including meat packs and a brand-new flat screen TV. Memorial Ride for Mr Pointy Boots

The Memorial Ride for Ronnie aka “Mr. Pointy Boots” is a community bike ride event calling on riders to gather for a group ride starting at Water Edge Park. It brings riders together for a memorial celebration ride featuring meet-up and ride-out times in honor of Ronnie with support from local bike crews and foundations.

Texas Sea Life Center

2 p.m. at 5930 Brockhampton St, Corpus Christi

The Texas Sea Life Center will host a talk featuring critters found along the bay, along with special animal guests. Attendees can learn more about local marine life during the educational presentation.

Dreams- Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

8-11:30 p.m. at Brewster Street Icehouse, 1724 N Tancahua, Corpus Christi

A Fleetwood Mac tribute band will perform at Brewster Street Icehouse Downtown, recreating the iconic sound and style of the legendary group. The award-winning Texas act brings a live show celebrating Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits.

Portland Farmers Market

Great American Trailer Park Musical

The The Great American Trailer Park Musical is a comedic country-rock stage show set in Armadillo Acres, where the arrival of a runaway stripper sparks chaos among eccentric trailer park residents dealing with love, jealousy, and everyday drama. It runs at the Port Aransas Community Theatre in Port Aransas, Texas, featuring a mix of humor, music, and over-the-top storytelling.

Easter Eggstravaganza 

4-11:45 p.m. at Heritage Park 1581 N Chaparral St, Corpus Christi

Families are invited to an afternoon of free, family-friendly fun featuring a huge Easter egg hunt for all ages, live music, food trucks, moon jumps, and plenty of prizes—including lots of bikes to be given away. Registration opens at 4 p.m., the egg hunt begins at 5 p.m., and participants must be present to win prizes.
