HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested multiple people after they were found trespassing at the abandoned Main Street America site.
The arrests were made in the 18700 block of the North Freeway in Spring, Texas, on March 30, 2026, according to the constable’s office.
Investigators said deputies were called to the property for reports of six suspicious individuals.
When deputies tried to make contact, one suspect ran but was quickly caught. The suspect, identified as a 16-year-old, allegedly resisted arrest and was found with a loaded handgun, the constable’s office said.
The other suspects were detained and identified as Ashley Escobar, Yorleni Escobar, Maria Ramirez and Joaquin Hargraves, along with a 15-year-old male, according to investigators.

Deputies said the group told investigators they went to the location after seeing it featured in a social media challenge and wanted to walk through the property.
Authorities noted the site has multiple posted “No Trespassing” signs.
Escobar, Escobar, Ramirez and Hargraves were booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with criminal trespass. Their bonds were set at $100 each out of County Court 1, the constable’s office said.

The two juveniles were booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with criminal trespass. The 16-year-old was additionally charged with resisting arrest and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to investigators.
“This is a reminder to our community: trespassing on this property is illegal and will result in arrest,” Herman said in a statement. “These social media challenges are not harmless trends; they can lead to serious legal consequences. Parents, please speak with your children about making smart and safe decisions.”
