The Odem Lady Owls managed just one hit against Corpus Christi West Oso in an 18-0 District 29-3A loss to the Lady Bears on Tuesday.
Odem’s lone hit came from Harper Dredla, who finished 1-for-2 at the plate and accounted for the Lady Owls’ only offensive production.
West Oso built an early lead with six runs in the first inning and added four more in the second and two in the third before closing the game with six runs in the fifth. West Oso totaled 12 hits and drew 12 walks in the contest.
Dredla also handled pitching duties for Odem, working five innings while striking out one.
Odem (10-17, 1-5) will face Aransas Pass in a 29-3A road game on Friday at 6 p.m.
