In one weekend, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida had more than 100 arrests, medical calls and seizures of weapons during spring break in March 2026.
But how did the Corpus Christi Police Department fare during spring break?
Though spring break is held during one week, several out-of-town colleges and school districts held their spring break the week after Corpus Christi did.
Senior officer Antonio Contreras said there were 117 calls for service from March 6 through March 22.
