It had been closed since last summer due to a kitchen fire.
“We were able to reuse the same seasoned grill that we had in the original location, so it’s still serving the same great burgers that San Antonio has grown to love,” explained Bryce Pohlmeier.

The burger joint is using the same grill that has been cooking up delicious burgers since 1985. And in case you didn’t know, the Bates Special is a single, while the Working Man’s Special is their famous double.
