A murder suspect has been arrested and accused of killing a woman whose body was found at a home in Joshua on Sunday afternoon, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies responded about 2:50 p.m. Sunday to a 911 medical call reporting an unresponsive woman at the home in the 4000 block of Dillard Court, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
When they arrived, deputies found 42-year-old Patricia Roman dead. Results of an autopsy are pending to determine the victim’s cause of death, according to Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office records.
The Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers investigated Roman’s death and arrested 42-year-old Noe Reyes on suspicion of murder.
Investigators interviewed the suspect, according to the Sheriff’s Office, but they have not released details about the motive for the homicide.
Reyes was being held Monday at the Johnson County Jail, with bond set at $1 million. It’s unclear whether he has a defense attorney to represent him in the case.
