Timber! Liberal Arts Building goes down – The Prospector

Timber! After 65 years of being a staple of The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) campus, the Liberal Arts Building is coming down.

After its successor, Texas Western Hall, was opened earlier this Spring semester, UTEP is now moving quickly to clear up the space near the student union to transform it into Arroyo Park, UTEP’s newest natural park.

The Prospector captures the historic moment and asks students for their thoughts over the demolition.
