Nikki Greek Bistro & Lounge has closed. The restaurant, located at 5757 W. Lovers Lane, opened in late April 2024, and will be reconcepted. It will open on November 14 as The Devonshire Club.
Founded by hospitality veterans Lisa and Elia “Tom” Georgalis, Nikki Bistro was Tom’s homage to his heritage.
The Georgalis family says the decision to evolve was guided by the community.
“We have been honored to share my family’s recipes and see how warmly Dallas embraced them,” said Elia “Tom” Georgalis. “But over the past year, we’ve listened to our neighbors and regulars. People want a place where they can linger, socialize, and enjoy great food and drinks in a lively, comfortable atmosphere. The Devonshire Club was born out of that vision.”
Named after the surrounding Devonshire neighborhood, the concept reflects the Georgalis family’s desire to create something that truly belongs to the community, a place that feels local, lively, and social.
One of my favorite Dallas chefs, Jacob Williamson, currently executive chef of The Saint, consulted with the Georgalis family on the menu. Lisa Georgalis says diners can expect an experience that feels elevated, but still easy to enjoy.

Chef Williamson describes the menu as a new American lounge fare with global influences, blending Americana, Asian, and French inspirations — and, of course, a touch of Greek flair.
“We spent a lot of time researching what works around town and what people in the area really enjoy,” said Williamson. “Everything is designed to be accessible and sharable, food you want to eat while you’re having a great drink and an even better conversation. You can order by the bite, mix and match your favorites, and really make it your own. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of menu with something for everyone. It’s elevated, but it’s still fun.”
There will be menu items to share and enjoy on your own. More good news, is that The Devonshire Club will serve J. Rae’s Cheesecake, crafted by Chef Jacob’s wife, Audrey Williamson, owner of J. Rae’s Bakery, located just across Lovers Lane in Devonshire. Yay!
The Devonshire Club fills a space that doesn’t currently exist in the West Lovers Lane area, which is safely our of the Lovers construction zone. It will be open until 2 a.m. on weekends, offering a mix of elevated bar and lounge experiences, including cocktails, billiards, shuffleboard, and darts. TVs will be placed throughout the space for sports watching, making it easy to settle in for a game with friends. It will be a true neighborhood gathering spot that blends sophistication with sociability.
The Devonshire Club is locally and family owned. Now, more than ever, these places need our patronage and support.
