Plano City Hall will consider approving grant money for two businesses at Monday night’s 6 p.m. meeting,
The city council meets at city hall in downtown Plano, 17 E. Main.
The Hinckley Coffee House applied for a $5,000 grant for a sign for its new brick and mortar store near Walmart on Route 34. Shain Diaz applied for $5,000 for painting and exterior work for the building at 9. N Hugh Street which is being turned into commercial or retail space.
Also on the agenda is the annual amended budget which includes about a 1.5 percent increase in spending.
On the committee of the whole meeting agenda, which follows the regular meeting, the council will discuss a Flock Camera grant, snow removal services, and some public works purchases.
