Plano ISD is proud to announce that five principals were selected to the latest cohort of The Holdsworth Center’s Campus Leadership Program.
This two-year program focuses on helping principals become stronger leaders and drive positive change for students. Principals first work to strengthen their leadership skills through executive coaching and learning sessions at the Holdsworth Center’s campus on Lake Austin. From there, principals are joined by a team of campus leaders to learn new skills and practice them in real situations they face at school. Field visits enrich the learning and show teams what is possible. Teams continue to learn continuous improvement methods towards improving outcomes for an underserved group at their school, ultimately transforming and empowering them to take on any issue that stands in the way of student success. The group included more than 100 applicants representing 40 school districts in Texas.
Congratulations to the following principals:
Sara Stewart – Centennial Elementary School
Jeffrey Waller – Harrington Elementary School
M’Cheyl Herrera – Hickey Elementary School
Ty Karl – Stinson Elementary School
John Tedford – McMillen High School
The Campus Leadership Program is one of three programs offered by The Holdsworth Center, whose mission is to impact, over time, the quality of PreK-12 public education for all Texas students by supporting and developing educational leaders.
