Plano residents are now under a watering restriction, according to the city.
The City of Plano is asking residents to only water twice per week at a maximum during the spring and summer seasons.
Residential addresses ending in even numbers are asked to water on Mondays and Thursdays. Homeowners associations and addresses ending in zero asked to follow the even numbered schedule as well.
Residential addresses ending in odd numbers are asked to water on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Residents are asked to withhold from watering while it is raining out. And with incoming rain in the forecast, residents might not need the additional watering.
The city is asking that sprinklers not be used between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The press release states residents may water for up to two hours per day.
A variance may be requested for up to 30 days to water new landscapes, according to the City of Plano.
