ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers (4-2) return to Arlington after winning both of their away series to begin the 2026 season.

Friday’s contest will mark the Rangers’ seventh opener at Globe Life Field and 55th overall since the franchise moved to Texas in 1972.

For their first homestand, which is set to start Friday afternoon against the Cincinnati Reds, another North Texas sports star will be on the bump for the ceremonial first pitch.
