Arlington is hosting many Easter events that students and residents can attend.
Here are six events.
Annual Easter egg hunt
The Arlington College and Career High School is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt for friends and family of all ages from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. The event will include games, prizes and face painting as well as the egg hunt.
Good Friday Family Night
Residents are invited to the Good Friday Family Night hosted by Revive Church from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Vandergriff Park. The event will feature bounce houses, an egg hunt for kids ages 2-10, a gaga ball tournament for ages 11-17 and food available for purchase. Guests can register for the event on the church’s website for free.
Easter bunny pictures
Get a photo with the Easter bunny from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at The Parks mall. Walk-ups may be available, but registration is available online through the mall’s website. Photo packages vary in price.
Pancake Breakfast and Easter Hunt
St. Barnabas United Methodist Church is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser and Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Children up to the sixth grade can participate in the egg hunt at 10 a.m. and will be divided into four age groups. Residents can bring filled Easter eggs and candy donations to the church’s office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Easter Brunch
Join Taste Community Restaurant for a pay-what-you-can brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Founder and chef Jeff Williams and staff will prepare a special menu for guests. Attendees can pay what they can afford, pay what they typically would or pay more than typical. Reservations for the event can be made on the restaurant’s website.
Easter at the Park
Kingdom Come Global Church invites residents to celebrate Easter from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Fielder Park. The event is free and will feature a 30-minute service, uplifting music, free food and family friendly activities. Attendees can bring lawn chairs and blankets.
