EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The global hit musical “SIX” is taking over the Plaza Theatre this weekend, bringing a high-energy reimagining of the six wives of Henry VIII as pop icons.
The show, with a run time of 80 minutes with no intermission, opens tonight at 8 p.m., with additional performances Saturday and Sunday.
Actress Nella Cole said audiences around the country have been enthusiastic.
“I mean, we get to play huge houses across the country, and we are usually really sold out or close to sold out, and just the people are so excited, and the crowds are electric, and they’re so loud,” Cole said.
Actress Hailey Alexis Lewis said she expects the momentum to continue here in the Borderland.
“Texas has not let us down, so I feel like El Paso is just gonna keep riding the high of the Texas wave,” Lewis said.
The performance also holds a digital lottery for discounted tickets.
The lottery opens the day before each show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
