SAN ANTONIO – A shooting on the East Side left a man dead and a woman injured, according to San Antonio police.
The incident happened Sunday around 11:40 p.m. near the 600 block of Jenull Avenue, not far from North Walters Street.
According to police, three people were in a nearby parking lot when two of them, both men, began arguing over a transaction.
A 43-year-old man, identified in an SAPD preliminary report as the suspect, pulled a gun and fired shots. The shooter fled from the scene and has not been found, police said.
Officers arrived and found the other man, 27, dead with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, the report said.
A 32-year-old woman was hospitalized in stable condition.
SAPD detectives are investigating.
