EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 39-year-old man over the weekend for Driving While Intoxicated.

Deputies arrested Victor Rodriguez Jr. for DWI last Saturday after he crashed his car.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 25, at approximately 5:44 p.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Celum Road and Coffin Road in El Paso County.

Upon arrival, deputies observed that the driver responsible for the crash, identified as Rodriguez Jr., displayed clear signs of intoxication.

Rodriguez Jr. provided breath specimens of 0.411 and 0.421, more than five times the legal limit of 0.08 in Texas, the sheriff’s office said.

Rodriguez Jr. was then arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd, under a $7,000 bond.
