SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man might be lucky to be alive after his car was shot at and he got some assistance from a roommate.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the 37-year-old victim was driving home on the Northeast Side when a car started following him. Police say someone driving the trailing car pulled a gun and started firing shots.
Investigators say the victim was able to call home for help as he was on his way, and when he arrived at home in the 200 block of Goforth Street, a roommate was waiting with a gun of their own. The roommate fired shots at the suspect vehicle, which then drove off and has not been seen since.
No injuries were reported, and the search for the suspect continues.
