EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department responded to a crash involving a pedestrian late Sunday morning, April 5 along Interstate 10 in Central El Paso.
The crash happened around noon at I-10 East and Paisano Drive, police said.
The El Paso Fire Department reported that one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries (Code 3). The Fire Department did not say who was hurt.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported that all lanes of traffic are closed at the crash site. Clearing time is estimated until further notice.
This is the second pedestrian crash involving a pedestrian that the Police Department responded to on Sunday. The first one happened around 8 a.m. at Texas and Kansas in Downtown.
