IceRays complete regular season with 30-25-6 record, secure 4th place in South Division, and prepare for playoff series against Shreveport Mudbugs.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi IceRays are heading into the postseason after closing out the 2025–26 North American Hockey League regular season with a strong finish and a historic milestone for the franchise.
The Corpus Christi IceRays says it ended the regular season with a 30-25-6 record and 66 points, securing fourth place in the South Division. They wrapped up their schedule with a 7-5 victory over Oklahoma on ;last Saturday night, closing the season on a high note.
The win also marked a major achievement for the organization, as the IceRays recorded back-to-back 30-win seasons for the first time in franchise history.
“This is a big step forward for our organization,” said CEO Steve Donner. “Our players have put in tremendous work all season long, and to achieve consecutive 30-win seasons speaks volumes about their dedication and the culture we’re building here in Corpus Christi.”
With the regular season complete, the IceRays now shift their focus to the playoffs after finishing in a competitive South Division.
Corpus Christi will face the Shreveport Mudbugs in the Robertson Cup Play-In Series at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Game 1 is set for April 10, Game 2 on April 11, and Game 3, if needed, on April 12. Game times are still to be announced.
