AUSTIN, Texas — Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in northwest Austin last week and are asking neighbors to submit any video footage that may help identify who is responsible.
Joshua Williams, 35, was shot in the 10900 block of Brazoria Lane shortly after midnight on April 3. A 911 caller reported her boyfriend had been shot, and officers arrived on scene and located Williams with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at 1:09 a.m.
No arrests have been made.
Detectives are asking residents in the area to review any home security or doorbell camera footage captured between 11:30 p.m. April 2 and 1 a.m. April 3. Police said the direction of travel of the suspect or suspects is unknown and that it is possible the person responsible drove through the surrounding neighborhood while leaving the scene.
