Further solidifying itself as a destination for art-lovers, Houston has added another gallery to its already impressive collection. The new Opera Gallery Houston has opened its doors in River Oaks, unveiling its rich collection of masterworks by the likes of Picasso, Monet, and Kumasa, alongside acclaimed contemporary artists.
Opera Gallery Houston is a part of the larger Opera Gallery network. Founded in Singapore nearly 30 years ago, Opera Gallery now features 16 exhibition spaces across four continents with permanent galleries in the likes of Monaco, Hong Kong, Beirut, and Paris. Opera Gallery has four locations in the United States, opening its latest in Houston this past March.

Located at 4444 Westheimer Rd, Suite A115 in River Oaks, Opera Gallery is presently in the midst of its grand opening. Running until April 19, 2026, the gallery’s inaugural exhibition presents a dialogue between historical masters and contemporary voices:
“The programme emphasizes Modern and Post-War masterworks while thoughtfully integrating internationally acclaimed contemporary artists whose practices extend, challenge, and reframe art historical traditions”.

Looking forward, the gallery plans to host from three to four exhibitions each year with a rotating selection of around 40 pieces. .
Opera Gallery Houston is located at 4444 Westheimer Rd, Suite A115. The gallery is open from 10 am – 7 pm Monday through Saturday; from noon – 6 pm on Sundays. The gallery is completely free to visit.
