The Rangers are one of eight teams getting new City Connects this year and all eight will be revealed at 9 am CT. The Rangers will place items for sale immediately in the Grand Slam Gift Shop at Globe Life Field in Arlington, but they will also be available through MLB.com, Nike.com and Fanatics.com.
On social media, many teams’ new looks have already apparently leaked, including the Rangers. Photos of deep red Rangers jerseys sporting block lettering “TEJAS” across the front and Mexican-inspired designs on the cuffs appeared.
The Rangers have neither confirmed nor denied the accuracy of the photos, but on social media Wednesday, the Rangers official account teased the release of the uniforms with what appeared to be a swatch of deep red, intricately designed embroidery and some cream stitching.
