Tommy: For the most part, yes I think so. Obviously, Javonte Williams is a guy that the Cowboys trust, and that’s reflected in the three-year extension he signed. Malik Davis showed down the stretch last year he can serve as the RB2, but can that consistency carry on across a full season? This offseason, the Cowboys have voiced their belief in Jaydon Blue, but he’ll need to show a lot of growth in order to gain the trust necessary for an RB2 role. Phil Mafah is the wildcard because of what he looks like after his injury, but is a larger, stockier back that can help in short yardage situations. I think Dallas believes they have options and a good room to work with while Williams serves as the central component.
