LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Traffic along 19th St. will soon flow smoothly as crews get closer to wrapping up construction in the area.
TxDOT said the 19th St. project will be “substantially complete” by the end of the year and all lanes will reopen.
Work is still underway to finish sidewalks, lighting and put up traffic signals.
Traffic will continue to be condensed to one lane in each direction from University to Avenue Q. From Avenue Q to I-27, drivers will be redirected to the inside lanes.
